LEO - ADOPTED

A four year old neutered male Spaniel Mix.

ADOPTED!

My name is Leo and I’m looking for a good home and someone to love.

I’m a 19-lb Spaniel mix, probably a Tibetan Spaniel and maybe a Pomeranian could be named as my ancestors. I’m a neutered male, about 4 years old and have a clean bill of health from the vet.

I was found wandering in rural Vista, and it looks like somebody left me. It’s probably because of my past that I seem to prefer women to men.

I’ve been staying with some friends who took me home, but they already have a dog and won’t be able to keep me. However, they already have all the things I need (like a collar, leash and bed), so you wouldn’t need to spend a lot of money to take me home. (They call me Leo because I look like a little lion.)

I would be a wonderful companion for somebody who is home a lot and wants a loyal friend. I don’t need a lot of exercise and I’m very quiet. I do need to have my coat brushed regularly and I probably wouldn’t be very happy if I were left alone all the time or had young children around. But, I am very loyal (my ancestors used to be the pets of monks in the Himalayas), and just want somebody to give my devotion too.

I’m sure hoping somebody would like to take me home, because I’m a very loving dog and would be happy to sit on your lap and hope for a tummy-scratch all day. I’m a pretty special guy with a big heart, so be prepared to answer some questions from the friends I’m staying with about what kind of home you have – they want to make sure I find a good, safe and loving home.
